Tibby
Owner & Creative Director
Tibby grew up in Virginia and moved to Charleston after college. A former English teacher and DE&I Program Director, she later worked in marketing and business consulting before following her creativity full-time.
Her passion for self-expression and helping others shine led her to create The Sparkle Bar. Tibby’s favorite fairy hair colors are Cotton Candy, Silver Surfer, and Laffy Taffy.
Anna Katherine
Anna Katherine was born and raised here in Charleston, SC! She loves animals and nature. In her free time she enjoys crafting, antiquing, thrifting and hanging out with her four legged friends🐇. Her favorite tinsel colors are Strawberry Fields Forever, Lima Bean Green & Magical Magenta!
Taylor
Taylor was born and raised in the Low Country. She loves reading, spending time outside, and hanging out with her cats! Taylor’s favorite colors are Amethyst, Laffy Taffy, and Blueberry.
Allison
Allison was born and raised in Michigan. She loves spending time with her dog, lounging at the pool or beach, and playing video games! Allison's favorite colors are Pumpkin Spice, Laffy Taffy, and Magical Magenta. When she's not creating magic with fairy hair, she brings her compassion and care to animals as a talented vet tech!
Sydney
A New Jersey native, Sydney moved to Charleston for college and knew she’d found her home. With a background in marketing and a lifelong passion for helping people feel seen and celebrated, she loves creating small moments of joy wherever she goes. When she’s not adding shimmer to someone’s day, she’s usually by the water, exploring new coffee shops, or creating art. Sydney's favorite colors are Blueberry, Lima Bean Green, and Strawberry Fields Forever.
Blair
Raised in Georgia, Blair grew up in an Army family before finding her home in Charleston more than 10 years ago. A lifelong lover of mermaids, Blair believes there’s sparkle to be found everywhere. She discovered Tibby and the magic of fairy hair alongside her Mom, making it something especially close to her heart. You can find her on the golf course, by the water, or spending time with her puppy dog, Dolly. Blair’s favorite fairy hair colors are Carolina Clouds, Mermaid Scales, and Unicorn Hair!
Rayanne
Rayanne was born and raised in Michigan. She is a Marine biologist during the week and a fairy during the weekends! In her free time, she loves to be outside at the pool or beach, reading, and crocheting. Ray’s favorite colors are Sea Foam, Firecracker Red, and Grape!
Chloe
Chloe grew up in the Outerbanks area of North Carolina but has been in Charleston since 2012. Outside of being a fairy, she is a medical esthetician throughout the week! In her free time she loves to go antiquing, dance, do yoga, and hangout with her cats! Chloe’s favorite colors are Barbie Corvette, Cotton Candy, and Silver Surfer!
Keira
Keira was raised here in Charleston and now is attending college in Pittsburgh! In her free time she loves hanging out with friends, the beach, pilates, and all things musical theater! Her favorite colors are sparkling champagne and barbie corvette!
Kelsie
Kelsie was born and raised in Michigan but moved to South Carolina 3 years ago. Part-time fairy who enjoys boxing and spending time with her friends. She is obsessed with all things sharks and her favorite colors are Sparkling Champagne and Blondie.
Izzy
Izzy was born in Cary, North Carolina, but grew up in Charleston. She has a strong passion for acting, and just graduated from Charleston County School of the Arts. She loves the beach and anything mermaid related; her comfort show is H2O Just Add Water. She's a mirrorball enthusiast and loves listening to Taylor Swift and Sade. Izzy's favorite colors are: Aquamarine, Lavender, Mermaid Scales, Seafoam, and Barbie Corvette!
Melody
Melody hails from NY, but has been calling the Lowcountry home since 2005. She is a former elementary school teacher and administrator, certified kids yoga instructor, and creative spirit who believes life is a little more magical with a touch of sparkle. She loves bringing smiles to people’s faces and helping clients leave feeling a little brighter than when they arrived. When she’s not adding fairy hair, you’ll likely find her hand weaving, dreaming up creative projects, or sharing her love of movement, mindfulness, and all things joyful.
